Precast Buildings

Precast concrete is an alternative to cast-in-situ concrete. While cast-in-situ concrete is cast in its actual location, precast concrete is cast at another location, either at the building site or in a factory, and is then lifted to its final resting place and fixed securely. This means that unlike cast-in-situ construction, which is monolithic or continuous, precast concrete buildings are made of separate pieces that are bolted or connected together.

- We have done large volumes of structural steel repairs / renewals on various commercial ships. We have undertaken sub assembly, assembly and consolidation of accommodation blocks for tugs passenger cum cargo vessels , Tanker and Cargo Launch Ship.
- Structural steel plates or aluminum plates are fabricated and assembled to form the ship or erection units. Erection units are assembled to form ships. Steel plates are replaced during repair and conversion work.

LTD. procedure for welding cracks in the vessel's shell plating and they are approved by the major classification societies.

HATCH COVERS:

We have repaired hatch or hatchway which is the opening at the top of a cargo hold. The mechanical devices which allow hatches to be opened and closed are called hatch covers. In general the hatch covers were between 45% and 60% of the ship's breadth, or beam, and 57% to 67% of the length of the holds. To efficiently load and unload cargo, hatches must be large, but large hatches present structural problems. Hull stress is concentrated around the edges of the hatches, and these areas must be reinforced.
